Sten mark 2 parts
They make some nice stuff cheap and there local to me. Buy a complete Sten spring set from stenparts. Otherwise you can strip the teeth out on the barrel nut. Tighten it hand tighten then engage the ratchet. Dont rely on the Barrel ratchet mechanism. Make sure the sear goes all the way down when you pull the trigger. Lots of times there not and will break at that point. Make sure the rear is welded inside the tube when you take out the spring cap you will see a small weld. If your paying $300 your being robbed unles the kits are saw cut? Things to look for. Walter makes nice parts including barrel threading(if you ask him nicely)!! I have found Apex has some of the nicer parts kits for $180ish. I wasnt gonna help you but for new barrels go to. Take a deep breathe and learn all you can. Be nice to him dave!!! Theres a lot to learn about stens. Rarely does anyone buy them so prices are often negotiable. They were notable for having a simple design and very low production cost. Every gun show has sten mags.even Waukesha. Sten 2 The Sten (or Sten gun) was a family of British 9 mm submachine guns used extensively by British and Commonwealth forces throughout World War II and the Korean War. Again, no one wants to sell 3 mags and have to ship them. I think the last lot I bought was 40 and they were 7-8 bucks IIRC. When would you ever fold it other than maybe for storage? You can just slide off the original in a few seconds? The only other nice ergonomic addition is a MK5 setup with the front grip or the AustenĪs to mags, clean them inside and out, buy the magazine gauge and you'll likely never have any frustration. Not for sale in New York, Chicago-IL, Aurora-IL, Topeka-KS, Maryland, Wisconsin, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, New Jersey or Puerto Rico. Made with hard wood stocks and sturdy metal (zinc), functional parts, this is a premier collector’s replica. The slide works, the trigger works, and it’s heavy, just like in the original.

I prefer the loop stock to any others and I can't see a "folder" adding anything to the gun in terms of convenience or ergonomics. This is a non-firing replica of the British Sten MK II Submachine Gun. If you are paying more, you're the only one? I see kits sit at shows for $200, mags at $15 don't sell. that make them special so they bring a bit of a premium. There is no shortage of original sten barrels and the new made ones usually have some new feature added like threading, contour, etc. We have sold quite a few to collectors and everyone has seemed pleased about the bayonets.Sten parts are everywhere, but in reality the value is so low a lot of people don't want to mess with selling and shipping them.or even packing them for a gun show. Our expert on Commonwealth material communicated with Graham Priest, sent pictures and talked over details of these bayonets with him. The US declares bayonets as "implements & articles of war".Īs a policy we ship no parts or products outside of the USA. Unfortunately I would have to be licensed as an export business and would have to have paperwork in place to ship bayonets overseas. Or do you ship bayonets to the UK, I know your laws are equally as stupid as ours. GP is probably the best man to authenticate them so there you have it, It's a shame you can't send to the UK or I think I'd have one to replace my repro. There just isn't much reference material from that time.īelow are images of the two variants we are selling. We were hoping to gain a true understanding of all the markings found on the bayonets, but that knowledge is being gained SLOWLY! Guns International Advertising Policy is the 1 Gun Classified website that brings gun buyers and gun brokers or sellers together through classifed advertising of guns, gun related items and services for sale online. The MP 3008 shared the same receiver design as the Sten, but changed the location of the magazine. II submachine guns were redesigned by the Germans, and designated the MP 3008(or Gerät Neumünster). We had these examined and consulted with the gent in the UK ( Graham Priest, author of "The Spirit of the Pike: British Socket Bayonets of the Twentieth Century") who appears to be the only person who has examined any of these and has taken the time to document these STEN bayonets. Stens in-game skill, a hand grenade, is a tribute to Jozef Gabík and Jan Kubi actions during the war. The STEN bayonets were pretty exciting as no real quantity of them has been available on the surplus collectors market. We purchased these when we bought all the STEN kits. When I get it, I'll add photos to the Sten pinned reference section.ĭavid for mentioning the original STEN bayonets that we have for sale at APEX Gun Parts. I felt I had to add one to my collection. There are 2 different manufacturer markings available, and they're either $325 or $345.

They're not cheap, but I had to order one when I saw them. I noticed in Small Arms Review (SAR) Magazine that Apex Gun Parts has original Sten Mk II bayonets available.
